The deadly accident happened around 10:00 p.m. on July 31 in the 5900 block of Bellaire Boulevard.

Houston, TX – A man was killed Thursday night in a bicycle accident in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 10:00 p.m. on July 31 in the 5900 block of Bellaire Boulevard.
Police said a tan GMC Sierra pickup truck was traveling eastbound when a bicyclist pulled in front of it. The truck driver was unable to stop and struck the bicyclist.
The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
The GMC driver remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The police are investigating the accident.
