Houston, TX – Four firefighters were injured early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Houston, according to officials.
The accident occurred around 3:32 a.m. on November 30 on US 59 (Eastex Freeway) near Exit 151.
Officials said a Houston fire engine had been requested to an accident scene on the freeway, and it was diverting traffic in the northbound lanes when it was struck by an 18-wheeler.
Four firefighters were taken to the hospital for treatment.
No other information was available.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
