Mercedes, TX – Four people were injured Friday morning in a three-vehicle collision in Mercedes, according to the police.
The collision occurred just after 7:00 a.m. on September 5 at the intersection of Business 83 and Mile 1 East Road.
Police said a 14-year-old was driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe when they ran a red light and hit a white gray Honda Civic sedan and a white Ford F-150 pickup truck.
The Tahoe driver and their passenger, who was a minor, were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The drivers of the sedan and Ford were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The Tahoe driver might face criminal charges.
The police are investigating the accident.
