Two occupants of the Nissan were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment

Jasper County, TX. – At least four people were injured in a car accident near Buna in Jasper County on Thursday evening
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 4:15 p.m. on State Highway 62 near County Road 826.
A 2013 Honda Odyssey was traveling north and was trying to pass a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse. The Chevrolet began to make a left turn onto C.R. 826 and was struck by the Honda.
The impact sent the Honda into a nearby parking lot and struck a parked Nissan Rogue, which was then pushed into a parked Mazda CX-9.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 42-year-old woman from Jasper, was transported to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Honda, a 56-year-old woman from Orange, was transported to Baptist Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Two occupants of the Nissan were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
