Houston, TX – The man who was critically injured on Friday in a pedestrian accident in Houston has died, according to the police.
The accident happened around 8:50 p.m. on August 29 in the 11700 block of Airline Drive.
Police said a gray Toyota Yaris was traveling southbound when it struck a man who was walking in the roadway.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead on September 2. His name has not been released.
The Toyota driver, a 45-year-old man, remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The police are investigating the accident.
