Fannin County, TX – As many as five people are dead and two others are injured following a two-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection in Fannin County Wednesday afternoon, according to a police report.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection of State Highway 56 and County Road 3212 between Windom and Dodd City.

DPS said five people were killed in the collision. The names of the victims were not immediately released.
Two other people were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
No additional details regarding the accident were provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
