Grayson County, TX – The family of a Grayson County Sheriff’s Office sergeant was injured Thursday night in a DUI accident in Grayson County, according to the Texas DPS.
The accident happened on October 2 on US-69 near Snow Road.
DPS said the sergeant’s family was driving on the highway after a soccer game when their vehicle was rear-ended while trying to turn left.
Two people in the car were taken to Texoma Medical Center. Three children were airlifted to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.
The sergeant’s wife was listed in critical condition and was put on life support with a brain injury, and their baby was in intensive care.
The driver who rear-ended them was arrested for intoxicated assault.
A GoFundMe has been organized to support and help the sergeant and his family with their needs.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
