The child’s mother and three other family members were injured in the crash

Silsbee, TX. – An 11-month-old baby has died following a collision that left four other people injured on Monday evening in Silsbee.
According to local police, the accident occurred around 5:14 p.m. in the 1800 block of Highway 327 W.
A 2014 Jeep Cherokee was traveling westbound and was attempting to turn left into a driveway when it was rear-ended by a 2013 silver Chevrolet pickup truck operated by 26-year-old Austin Tyler Armstrong of Livingston.
11-month-old Elijah Howard was killed in the accident.
The child’s mother and three other family members were injured in the crash and were transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
More details about the accident were not released
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
