According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 39-year-old Bishop woman was driving her 2023 Dodge Charger westbound on FM 70 approaching County Road 67 when she collided head-on with Brown’s car

Bishop, TX – A 46-year-old Border Patrol agent was killed after his car collided head-on with another car on FM 70, east of Bishop Monday night.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 39-year-old Bishop woman was driving her 2023 Dodge Charger westbound on FM 70 approaching County Road 67. For some reason, the woman crossed into the opposite lane and drove the wrong way.
The woman’s Charger collided head-on with a 1998 Lexus ES operated by the Border Patrol agent identified as Brandon Brown, 46, of Corpus Christi.
Brown and the female driver were transported to Christus Spohn Shoreline, where Brown succumbed to his injuries.
No additional details regarding the incident were provided.
The Texas DPS is investigating the incident.
