Dallas, TX – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident earlier this month in Dallas has been identified as Braden Taylor Richardson, 30, of Dallas, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on October 11 in the 5200 block of Harry Hines Boulevard near Parkland Hospital.
Police said Rocky Joe Sustaita, 44, was driving a truck northwest when he lost control, left the roadway, hit a sign, and hit two trees. The truck also hit Richardson, who was lying down next to one of the trees.
Richardson was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Sustaita was intoxicated at the time of the accident and was arrested. He was facing a charge of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and was released on a $250,000 bond.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
