Boerne, TX – A man was killed Wednesday night in a truck accident in Boerne, according to the police.
The fatal accident occurred on October 15 on Interstate 10 near Texas 46.
Police said an 18-wheeler had experienced an electrical or mechanical failure and became disabled in the inside lane of the interstate. Bradly Dietert, 40, of Kendall County, was driving a Toyota Tundra westbound when he crashed into the stalled 18-wheeler.
The 18-wheeler did not have any rear lights until seconds before the collision.
Dietert was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the 18-wheeler cooperated with the investigators.
The collision closed a portion of the interstate for several hours.
The police are investigating the accident.
