Jefferson County, TX – The man who was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle collision in west Jefferson County has been identified as Charles Moak, 60, of Groves, according to the authorities.
The fatal collision occurred around 4:19 a.m. on September 5 at the intersection of FM 365 and US Highway 90.
DPS said a truck tractor semi-trailer was traveling westbound on Highway 90 while a Ford F-150 was traveling northbound on FM 365.
The Ford driver disregarded the red traffic light at the intersection and hit the left side of the semi-trailer.
The Ford driver, Moak, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-trailer was uninjured in the accident.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
