Fort Worth, TX – A child died and an adult was injured Wednesday afternoon in a train accident in Fort Worth, according to the authorities.
The deadly collision occurred at about 3:00 p.m. on November 19 near the area of Elliott Reeder Road and Colony Court.
Authorities said a car tried to go around an active train barricade and was hit by a Trinity Railway Express train.
An adult in the car was taken to the hospital for treatment. A child was pronounced dead at the scene.
Additional details regarding the accident were not available.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
