Lubbock, TX – A 39-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Christopher Jarman from Lubbock, was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Lubbock on Tuesday evening, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly collision occurred on County Road 1450 on February 3, 2025, at about 5:44 p.m.
Lubbock police said a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2016 Yamaha motorcycle, driven by Jaraman, was traveling north on CR 1450, behind a 2015 Ford pickup, driven by Brandon Conner, 32, of Lubbock
Police said the pickup began to make a left turn into a driveway and Jarman attempted to pass on the left and collided with the pickup.

The impact sent the motorcycle into the west barrow ditch and Jarman sustained life-threatening injuries. Jarman was rushed to the University Medical Center where he was declared dead, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
DPS said Conner was not hurt in the collision and was wearing a seatbelt.
