Milam County, TX – A man was killed Sunday afternoon in a head-on collision in Milam County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision happened around 1:10 p.m. on January 4 on FM 485 near CR 144.
DPS said a Ford F-250 pick-up truck was traveling eastbound on the highway when it attempted to pass other eastbound vehicles, in a no-passing zone, and crashed head-on into a westbound 2022 Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck.
The Tacoma driver, Cody Blain Wall, 43, of Cameron, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ford driver was taken to Baylor Scott & White in Temple with incapacitating injuries.
The DPS troopers are investigating the accident.
