Orange County, TX – An Orange County sheriff’s deputy was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Orange County, according to the authorities.
The accident occurred on Briarcliff Road.
Authorities said the collision involved a Dodge pickup truck and a purple Orange County Sheriff’s Office patrol car that is specifically used for the sheriff’s office domestic violence response program.
The deputy was taken to St. Elizabeth with non-life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear if anyone from the pickup truck was taken to the hospital.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
