The fatal collision occurred at about 10:00 p.m. on December 17 on Interstate 45.

Buffalo, TX – A person was killed Wednesday night in a rear-end collision in Buffalo, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision occurred at about 10:00 p.m. on December 17 on Interstate 45.
DPS said Dontavis Hood, 33, of Missouri City, was driving a Lincoln Town Car southbound on the interstate.
The Lincoln stalled in the inside lane with no lights and was rear-ended by a southbound 18-wheeler.
Hood was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 18-wheeler then struck an SUV in the inside lane, pushing it through the cable barrier and into the northbound lanes.
The three people in the SUV might have sustained injuries in the accident.
No additional information was released.
The troopers are conducting the investigation.
