Brownsville, TX – A DPS trooper was injured Monday evening in a two-vehicle collision in Brownsville, according to the Texas DPS.
The collision happened around 6:30 p.m. on October 6 in the area of Highway 4 and FM 511.
DPS said the collision involved a DPS unit and another vehicle.
A DPS trooper was taken to a local hospital, where they were treated and released.
The occupants of the second vehicle were not taken to the hospital.
The collision remains under investigation.
