The deadly accident happened around 6:54 p.m. on November 17 at the intersection of Old FM 440 Road and Pershing Drive.

Killeen, TX – A man was killed Monday evening in a motorcycle accident in Killeen, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 6:54 p.m. on November 17 at the intersection of Old FM 440 Road and Pershing Drive.
Police said Edwin Cruzado Arce, 50, of Killeen, was riding a motorcycle westbound on Pershing Drive at a high rate of speed. He tried to stop at the stop sign, but he could not because of his speed, and he laid his motorcycle down before entering the intersection. He and the motorcycle were then struck by a gray sedan that was traveling northbound on Old FM 440 Road.
Arce was taken to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, where he later died. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
The Killeen Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the accident.
