Kendall County, TX – A woman and two children were killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Kendall County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision happened just before 3:30 p.m. on October 27 in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Mile Marker 524.
DPS said a 2013 GMC Sierra was stopped in the right lane of the highway when it was rear-ended by a 2018 Cascadia tractor-trailer.
Giselle Cristobal, 23, and two male juveniles were pronounced dead at the scene.
The GMC driver, a 31-year-old woman, was taken to a San Antonio medical center for treatment. A 2-year-old girl was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
No further details were provided.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
