Abilene, TX. – 58-year-old Gregory Ragle has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a crash on Thursday evening in Abilene.
According to the Abilene Police Department, the fatal accident happened around 7:09 p.m. on Interstate 20 between mile markers 287 and 288.
Gregory was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Interstate 20 and was hit from behind by a semi-truck.
The rider was then struck by another vehicle after being knocked down.
The semi-truck fled the scene, but the driver was later located and is cooperating with the investigation.
Gregory was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
