The teenage driver was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

Austin, TX. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night in Austin.
According to police, the deadly auto-pedestrian accident happened on Lamar Boulevard, between Indian Mound Drive and W. Yager Lane, at around 8:30 p.m.
49-year-old Ismal Mossaad was reportedly struck by two vehicles operated by 33-year-old Markell D. Turner and a 16-year-old boy.
The teen was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Turner was charged with driving while intoxicated.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
