Jim Wells County, TX  – The Texas DPS has identified a driver who died a collision involving multiple vehicles on Highway 359 as James Siecko, 54, of Sugarland.

The deadly accident happened on Highway 359 at about 3:25 p.m. December 5.

DPS said a 76-year-old woman was driving a Ford F-150 was traveling northbound on 359 approaching FM 534 when she failed to yeild the right of way and collided with a 2017 Dodge Ram driven by Siecko. A 2016 Infiniti Q70, also driven by a 76-year-old woman, was also involved in the collision.

Upon the impact, the Siecko’s Ram went off the roadway and overturned, landing on its side. Siecko was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jim Wells County, TX – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Orange Grove on Thursday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The wreck happened on Highway 359 at about 3 p.m. December 5.

The DPS said a 2019 Ford F-150, a 2016 Infiniti Q70, and a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 were involved in the accident.

One of the drivers, only identified as a male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The other two drivers were taken to a hospital as a precaution.

The cause of the deadly accident is under investigation.
