SAN ANTONIO, TX – A 21-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident involving a San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) patrol car, Friday evening, according to a police report.

The accident occurred at about 5:31 p.m. on July 26 at the intersection of W Southcross Boulevard and Huron Street.

According to SAPD, 21-year-old Jesus Ervey Pacheco Ceniceros was riding a 2015 Yamaha northbound on Huron when he entered the intersection as the traffic light was turning yellow.

At the same time, a marked SAPD patrol car was traveling eastbound on Southcross, while responding to an unrelated emergency.  The two vehicles collided and Jesus Ceniceros was ejected from his bike and the patrol vehicle drove into westbound lanes, crashing into a stopped vehicle.

According to SAPD, emergency responders transported all patients to a local hospital. Unfortunately, Jesus Ceniceros died from his injuries on Friday night. The SAPD officer and the driver of the second car are reportedly in stable condition.

No additional information regarding the crash was provided. The incident remains under investigation.
