The deadly accident happened just after 8:00 a.m. on December 3 in the 10000 block of Roosevelt Avenue just south of Loop 410.
San Antonio, TX – The woman who was killed Wednesday morning in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio’s South Side has been identified as 63-year-old Josefina Morales Villarreal, according to the Medical Examiner.
The deadly accident happened just after 8:00 a.m. on December 3 in the 10000 block of Roosevelt Avenue just south of Loop 410.
Police said a vehicle turned onto the northbound lanes and hit Villarreal, who was walking home from a neighborhood store.
Villarreal was dragged by the vehicle for about a block before it stopped. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver told investigators that he didn’t see Villarreal. He remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The police are investigating the accident.
