UPDATE: A previous version of this story indicated that several people were injured. However, the Texas Department of Public Safety has confirmed that only one person was injured in the collision.

Todd Mission, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the person who died in a two-vehicle accident near the Texas Renaissance Festival on Saturday as Juan Cervantez, 38, of Tomball. One other person sustained serious injuries in the accident.
According to DPS, the deadly accident happened at about 8:45 p.m. on November 9, at the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 1774 and County Road 303.
DPS said a Dodge Ram 1500 was heading northbound in the center-left-turn-only lane attempting to make a left turn onto CR303 when it collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling southbound in the center-left-turn-only lane, passing slow-moving traffic.
The passenger of the Jeep, later identified as Juan Cervantez, died in the accident. The driver of the Jeep sustained serious injuries and was transported to Tomball Medical Center.

Todd Mission, TX – One person is dead and several others are injured following a two-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection in Todd Mission Saturday night, according to a police report.
The deadly accident happened at the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 1774 and County Road 303 on November 9.
Two vehicles collided head-on killing one person and sending at at least two people to the hospital.
The identity of the victim was withheld pending positive identification and notification of family.
The incident remains under investigation.
