Arlington, TX – A motorcycle rider was killed in a collision that took place in Arlington on Wednesday evening, according to the Arlington Police Department.
The incident took place on E. Abram Street and New York Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. January 22.
According to the report, a motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Abram Street at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee attempting to make a left turn from westbound Abram Street onto New York Avenue.
The Jeep then collided with a 2009 Hyundai Sonata that had stopped at the traffic light on New York Avenue.
The motorcyclist, Kyle Matthew Lusk, 26, was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered life-threatening injuries.
Kyle Lusk was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene and contacted the authorities.
The accident is under investigation.
