El Paso, TX – According to the El Paso Police Department, Luis Francisco Salcido, 22, has died after a car hit him early Saturday morning in East El Paso.
The accident happened around 4:51 a.m. on October 4 at the intersection of Zaragoza and Sun Fire.
Police said Salcido was crossing the street at a crosswalk, going against the “do not cross” sign, when he was struck by an SUV that was towing two other vehicles.
Salcido was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
The SUV driver was not facing charges.
