Odessa, TX – A man was injured Thursday evening in a motorcycle accident in Odessa, according to the police.
The accident happened around 7:36 p.m. on October 9 on 42nd Street.
Police said a 24-year-old man was riding a black Suzuki motorcycle westbound on the street when a black Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 19-year-old man, attempted to turn left into the Walgreens parking lot and struck the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The Silverado driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way while turning left and for no proof of insurance.
The police are investigating the accident.
