Azle, TX – A 67-year-old man is dead following a two-vehicle traffic collision on State Highway 199 in North Texas on Saturday night, police said.

Azle Police Department said a Ford F-250 carrying four passengers was traveling eastbound on State Highway 199 when, for some reason, the driver lost control, and the vehicle crossed over the center median and collided with a westbound Toyota Tacoma carrying two passengers
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma, a 67-year-old man, was trapped inside the vehicle and was later declared deceased at the scene.
APD said a passenger in the Tacoma suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators
No additional details were provided. The accident is under investigation.
