Houston, TX – A 72-year-old man was killed Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:15 a.m. on October 30 in the 2500 block of Gessner Road.

Police said a gold Toyota Sienna was traveling southbound when the man entered the roadway, failed to yield the right of way, and was struck by the vehicle.

The man was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

No other information was released.

The police are investigating the accident.
