San Antonio, TX – A man was hit and critically injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the street on San Antonio’s Northwest Side Sunday night, according to San Antonio police.
The auto-pedestrian accident occurred just after 8 p.m. on February 2 in the 8100 block of Bandera Road.
Authorities said the driver of the vehicle did not see the pedestrian, who was dressed in “all-black” clothing, and realized he had hit the victim, after feeling an impact and seeing “debris” flying over his vehicle.
According to SAPD, the driver stopped to help and found the male pedestrian lying on the median injured.
The man was transported to the hospital in critical condition, SAPD said.
