Austin, TX – A pedestrian who was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle at an intersection in Austin late last month is dead, according to West Koenig Lane and Allandale Road.

The pedestrian accident happened on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at approximately 5:38 p.m. at the intersection of West Koenig Lane and Allandale Road, according to the Austin Police Department (APD).

APD said officers responded to the intersection for a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital where he remained hospitalized for about 2 weeks and was pronounced dead on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 1:53 a.m.

The driver remained on scene and cooperated with the investigators. The police determined that the driver was not impaired.

The victim has not been identified.

The investigation is still pending.
