The fatal collision happened around 6:30 a.m. on July 15 in the northbound lanes of Loop 1604 near Marbach Road.

Bexar County, TX – A man was killed Tuesday morning in a fiery two-vehicle collision in west Bexar County, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
The fatal collision happened around 6:30 a.m. on July 15 in the northbound lanes of Loop 1604 near Marbach Road.
Deputies said a vehicle attempted to pass a Toyota 4Runner. The Toyota driver accelerated and went around that vehicle. As the Toyota attempted to re-enter the lane, it collided with the other vehicle.
The impact pushed both vehicles into the median, where the Toyota crashed into an overpass concrete pillar and caught on fire.
The driver of the Toyota, a 50-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
No other details were provided.
The collision remains under investigation.
