Dallas, Texas – A man was killed early Sunday morning in a pedestrian accident in Dallas, according to the Dallas Police Department.

The deadly accident happened just before 3:00 a.m., May 12, on the LBJ Freeway and Miller Road.

Police said a tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound on the freeway when it struck a retaining wall. The driver then got out of the truck and was hit by a car. He died on the way to the hospital. His name has not been released.

The driver of the car remained at the scene after the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
