The deadly pedestrian accident happened around 3:25 p.m. on February 3 in the 700 block of Azie Morton Road near Barton Springs Road and Zilker Park.

Austin, TX – The police are investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian accident that happened on Azie Morton Road in South Austin on Monday afternoon.

The deadly pedestrian accident happened around 3:25 p.m. on February 3 in the 700 block of Azie Morton Road near Barton Springs Road and Zilker Park.

According to a social media post by the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS), EMS medics responded to the scene and performed CPR on a male adult who was hit by a vehicle.

The medics transported the critically injured man to a trauma center where he was pronounced dead, according to Austin PD.

The police have not provided information regarding the driver.

No additional information regarding the incident is available. The accident remains under investigation.
