The deadly collision happened at about 5:29 a.m. on December 10 in the 17000 block of Alameda.

Fabens, TX – The person who was killed Wednesday morning in a head-on collision in Fabens has been identified as 54-year-old Maria De Cisneros Romo of Tornillo, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
The deadly collision happened at about 5:29 a.m. on December 10 in the 17000 block of Alameda.
Authorities said a red Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound and was being followed by a black Toyota SUV while a gray Dodge pickup was traveling eastbound.
The Toyota SUV tried to pass the Silverado and crashed head-on with the Dodge. The Silverado then struck the Toyota SUV.
The driver of the Toyota SUV, De Cisneros Romo, was killed in the accident.
The Silverado driver and the Dodge driver were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The police are investigating the accident.
