The deadly collision happened at about 6:40 p.m. on February 2 at the of Vista del Sol Drive and Lomaland Drive.

El Paso, TX – A 90-year-old woman, identified as Maria De La Luz Roman, is dead following a two-vehicle accident at an intersection in El Paso Sunday evening, according to the El Paso PD.
The deadly collision happened at about 6:40 p.m. on February 2 at the of Vista del Sol Drive and Lomaland Drive.

El Paso PD said a 37-year-old woman was driving a black SUV westbound on Vista Del Sol Drive and was attempting to make a left turn onto Lomaland Drive.
At the same time, a 64-year-old woman was driving a red SUV eastbound on Vista Del Sol.
As per the police, the black SUV failed to yield the right of way while making the left turn and collided with the red SUV.
Both drivers and a 90-year-old female passenger of the Red SUV identified as Maria De La Luz Roman, were transported to a local hospital.
Unfortunately, De La Luz Roman later died at the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
