Temple, TX – The man who was killed Tuesday morning in a pedestrian accident in Temple has been identified as 61-year-old Mark Poirier, from Moody, Texas, according to the police.
The deadly accident was reported around 5:52 a.m. on October 14 in the 10700 block of West State Highway 36.
Police said Poirier was struck by a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The accident closed both directions of the highway for several hours. The highway was reopened around 11:45 a.m.
The police are investigating the accident.
