Jones County, TX – One person was killed, and three others were injured on Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision in Jones County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision happened on December 16 on FM 600.
DPS said a 2017 Jeep Wrangler was traveling southbound and was approaching a curve. A northbound 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee attempted to pass another vehicle in a marked no-passing zone and crashed into the Wrangler.
The front passenger in the Cherokee, Marsai Jaella Denise Malbro, 21, of Humble, Texas, was killed in the accident.
The Wrangler driver, Stephen Severne Hughes, 38, and the Cherokee driver, Darion Mark Little, 25, were taken to Hendrick North Hospital with serious injuries.
Another passenger, Bryce Deon Malbro, 19, was also taken to Hendrick North Hospital with serious injuries.
No additional information was available.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
