Miguel Juarez-Rodriguez Wanted in Texarkana Motorcycle Accident on U.S. Highway 67 and Kelly Road

Texarkana, Texas – A warrant has been issued in connection to the hit-and-run accident that happened on May 4 in Texarkana, according to the Texarkana Police Department.
Miguel Juarez-Rodriguez, 39, is wanted in connection to the hit-and-run.
The deadly accident happened on U.S. Highway 67 and Kelly Road near Wake Village.
Police said James Wooten, 20, was riding his motorcycle when he was struck by a 2016 – 2019 dark blue Nissan Titan pickup.
Wooten was thrown into a ditch and was later pronounced dead.
The pickup truck driver, Juarez-Rodriguez, fled the scene after the accident. He is wanted for failing to render aid during a collision causing death. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 903-255-5701, or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP (7867). A reward of up to $2,000 cash is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
