Richard Wing died in a collision that happened shortly after 1 a.m. on November 26 on N. Collins Street, near NE Green Oaks Boulevard.

Arlington, TX – The authorities have identified the rider who died after being struck by a suspected drunk driver as Richard Wing, 55, of Dallas.
Wing was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle on N. Collins Street when he was struck head-on by a 20024 Chevy Silverado, driven by Thomas Kelly Jr., 27, near NE Green Oaks Boulevard.
Wing was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kelly is accused is charged with intoxication manslaughter, collision involving death, and tampering.
Arlington, TX – A 55-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a traffic collision involving a suspected drunk driver in Arlington early Saturday morning.
The deadly incident happened shortly after 1 a.m. on November 26 on N. Collins Street, near NE Green Oaks Boulevard.
Arlington police say a 20024 Chevy Silverado, driven by Thomas Kelly Jr., 27, collided head-on crash with a Harley Davidson.
Richard Wing Dies in Arlington Motorcycle Collision
A preliminary investigation revealed that the Chevy was traveling northbound on N. Collins and was weaving in and out of lanes trying to pass drivers. The Chevy swerved into the center lane and collided head-on with the motorcycle that was attempting to make a turn.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further investigation revealed that after the deadly collision, Kelly was seen throwing cans from inside the vehicle into a nearby field before trying to run from the scene.
Arlington police say Kelly is charged with intoxication manslaughter, collision involving death, and tampering.
The incident remains under investigation.
