Nicholas Calloway was traveling northbound on FM 1053 when a Ford F-15o entered his lane and the two vehicles collided head-on.

Fort Stockton, TX – The Texas DPS has identified the driver killed and the one injured in a head-on traffic collision in Fort Stockton Saturday morning.
DPS identified the deceased driver as Nicholas Calloway, 25, of Houston. The injured driver was identified as Donnavin Brown, 21, of Odessa.
According to DPS, Brown was driving a Ford F-150 southbound on FM 1053 when his vehicle veered into the northbound lane. Brown made evasive action but re-entered the northbound lane and collided head-on with the GMC operated by Calloway.
Calloway was pronounced dead at the scene.
Brown sustained serious injuries and was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital.

Fort Stockton, TX – One person is dead and another seriously injured following a head-on crash on FM 1053 near mile marker 384 in Fort Stockton Saturday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly crash happened at 8 a.m. on July 20, 2024, on FM 1053 near mile marker 384 and involved a 2015 Ford F-150 and a 2024 GMC Sierra.
According to the DPS, a preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the Ford F-150 was traveling southbound on FM 1053 when his vehicle veered into the northbound lane.
The driver made an evasive action but re-entered the northbound lane and collided head-on with the GMC.
The driver of the GMC Sierra sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ford driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital
No additional details regarding the crash were provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
