The deadly accident happened just before 8:30 p.m. on October 13 on the Missile Road exit ramp, off Interstate 44.

Wichita Falls, TX – A 21-year-old Burkburnett resident, identified as Noah Burris, was hit and killed by a passing vehicle after exiting another vehicle on Interstate 44 Sunday night, according to a police report.
The deadly accident happened just before 8:30 p.m. on October 13 on the Missile Road exit ramp, off Interstate 44.

According to the police, Burris had just exited a vehicle that was partially parked in the roadway when he was hit by a passing vehicle.
Another 31-year-old man was hit after entering the roadway to help Burris. The man was taken to United Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that struck Burris was not injured. Authorities said no charges are expected.
The incident remains under investigation.
