Harris County, TX. – Injuries were reported in a crash involving two patrol cars on Saturday night near Humble.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at FM-1960 East and Belleau Wood Drive.
HCSO personnel were providing traffic control outside a large public event in the area when a vehicle rear-ended a sergeant in her patrol unit.
The sergeant was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver was arrested for DWI.
During the investigation, a second driver struck the rear of another unoccupied patrol vehicle.
The driver was also arrested on suspicion of DWI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
