Austin, TX – The Austin Police Department is investigating a traffic collision involving two vehicles that sent one person to the hospital with severe injuries on Tuesday night, according to a social media post by Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS).
The accident happened at about 9:21 p.m. on August 13, in the 10400 block of Taylor Lane.

Reportedly, Travis County Emergency Services District 12 and ATCEMS Medics responded to the scene and located two vehicles with one patient pinned in one of the vehicles.
One Person Hospitalized After Austin Two-Vehicle Accident Tuesday Night
ATCEMS Medics extricated the patient and declared them a trauma alert. The medics transported the patient to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.
Drivers using the road were advised to use alternative routes.
