
Moore County, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a deadly traffic collision involving a car and an 18-wheeler on Highway 287 near Dumas early Tuesday morning.
The deadly accident happened at approximately 6:52 a.m. on September 17 on southbound on U.S. 287 one mile north of the Dumas city.
Reportedly, Osvaldo Lopez Boudet, 54, of Dumas, was driving a 2004 Honda Civic westbound on US 287 when for unknown reasons he crossed into the northbound traffic lane and collided with a 2007 Kenworth truck tractor towing a semi-trailer.

Boudet was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck, identified as Jose Reyes, 40, of Dumas, was not injured in the accident.
No additional details regarding the collision was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
