College Station, TX – A  pedestrian was hit and killed by a City of College Station garbage truck Tuesday morning, according to the College Station Police Department (CSPD)

As per the CSPD, the deadly accident happened at 8175 Atlas Pear Drive, Lake Walk at Traditions.


College Station Police said the pedestrian died at the scene. The name of the victim was not immediately released.

The City of College Station said trash collection for the day will be suspended and will resume on Wednesday, October. 16.

No additional information was provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
