Sheldon, TX – A woman was killed Saturday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Sheldon, according to the deputies.

The fatal accident happened on December 20 at the intersection of Beaumont Highway and Sheldon Road.

Deputies said Priscila Torres Almaguer was driving a GMC pickup truck westbound on Beaumont Highway when she ran a red light at the intersection and hit a Ford pickup truck driven by a man.

The GMC rolled over after the collision, and Torres Almaguer was trapped inside. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three children and a man in the GMC were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the crash.
