The deadly crash happened at around 5:08 p.m. p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of S Capital of Texas Highway on the northbound side.

Austin, TX — A male rider was killed in a motorcycle traffic collision that occurred on Capital of Texas Highway in southwest Austin Tuesday evening, according to the Austin Police Department (APD)
The deadly crash happened at around 5:08 p.m. p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of S Capital of Texas Highway on the northbound side.
ATCEMS medics responded to the scene of a collision involving a large vehicle and a motorcycle. The medics pronounced the rider dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
APD said the driver was not impaired at the time of the collision. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The accident remains under investigation.
